Pushing Daisies (2007)

A pie-maker can briefly revive the dead, but precise limits make helping one person dangerous for another. Like The Good Place, it turns an absurd rule into both a joke and an ethical problem. The jewel-coloured detective fairy tale is especially strong on longing and affection; its two-season run finishes with a compressed wrap-up.
