Daldal (2026)

Rita Ferreira has investigative authority without the comfort of being seen as beyond question. Bhumi Pednekar's police lead brings a difficult inner life to a Mumbai serial-killer case, making judgement and vulnerability part of the same problem. The 2026 series is an abrasive, very dark starting point for a woman whose professional power does not make her safe or uncomplicated.
