Dahaad (2023)

Sonakshi Sinha's Anjali Bhaati must investigate missing women while negotiating the caste and gender assumptions directed at her. Her competence is practical, expressed through following an inconsistency and continuing when somebody would prefer the matter closed. The Rajasthan setting gives those obstacles a specific social shape, making the series a grounded choice for professional persistence rather than a speech about empowerment.
