Unbelievable (2019)

A young woman's report of rape is treated as a problem with her credibility, while two detectives elsewhere start asking better questions. Unbelievable is particularly strong on the consequences of how a person is received at the first point of contact. It contains difficult accounts of sexual assault and institutional failure. The reason to choose it here is the contrast between following a procedure and using it to listen properly.
