Time (2021)

The 2021 British Time uses prison routines to show how limited choices become more consequential under confinement. Its seasons follow different people, making the position of a prisoner and that of someone employed by the institution distinct sources of pressure. The blunt, intimate drama gives ordinary acts of discretion real weight. Pick it for the way a system's daily operation can make a decision both understandable and damaging.
