Ascension (2014)

A supposed generation ship preserves the social arrangements of the 1960s while travelling towards a distant future. That contradiction is more interesting than its initial murder mystery, and the short run keeps changing what the premise means. Treat its three-part broadcast as an ambitious, incomplete opening, with major later questions left hanging.
