Dead Boy Detectives (2024)

Two teenage ghosts turn the business of avoiding the afterlife into work helping other troubled spirits. Its strongest fantasy is practical and local: each supernatural case reveals a different kind of unfinished attachment. The 2024 series belongs to The Sandman screen world but offers a distinctive friendship and found-family tone; its one-season run was not continued.
