The Almighty Johnsons (2011)

Norse gods survive as members of an ordinary New Zealand family, with unreliable powers and very human failings. The fun comes from the indignity of carrying mythic responsibility into sibling arguments and everyday relationships. Its rough-edged adult comedy makes a useful change from solemn lore, and three seasons give its central quest a destination.
