The Lost Room (2006)

Ordinary objects from a vanished motel room acquire impossible properties, and a detective's search becomes entangled with people who want to organise or worship them. The pleasure is tactile: a key, a comb or a bus ticket changes what somebody can do. This compact miniseries supplies a central emotional resolution while leaving much of its world unexplained.
