Great News (2017)

An ambitious television producer's mother becomes an intern at her workplace, adding personal interference to an already unruly news operation. Great News is the broad sitcom choice, with editorial work filtered through status battles, publicity and people who badly want their contribution noticed. It earns its place through the absurdity of deciding what deserves airtime inside an institution that also has to entertain. The mother-daughter comedy is as prominent as the news.
