Drop the Dead Donkey (1990)

GlobeLink News has a fresh supply of management interference and very little reason to believe it will improve the bulletin. Drop the Dead Donkey turns editorial priorities into a running negotiation between professionalism, vanity and the owner's interests. Some topical references date the 1990s satire, but the incentive to make a story serve the organisation remains easy to recognise. Choose it for the newsroom argument stripped of its self-flattering speeches.
