Grahan (2021)

An investigation into anti-Sikh violence in 1984 confronts a present-day officer with personal and political resistance. The series links a Bokaro community's history to the difficulty of reopening an account powerful people would prefer settled. Its quieter emotional register makes a useful change from succession thrillers, with memory, testimony and institutional reluctance doing the political work.
