Quarry (2016)

A Vietnam veteran returning to Memphis finds that war has not prepared him to re-enter ordinary work or his marriage. His move into contract killing is shaped by the city's racial and economic pressures, not just a taste for noir style. The eight-episode run gives its central movement weight while leaving the character's possible future outside the screen.
