The Red Road (2014)

A New Jersey police officer and an ex-con become bound by a cover-up involving their neighbouring communities. The series makes local history and institutional power part of the crime, with a Native American community occupying more than a convenient backdrop. Its two-season run offers tense relationships, but the wider conflicts did not receive a full continuation.
