Trial & Error (2017)

A conscientious young lawyer has to assemble a defence in a town whose customs seem designed to obstruct logical thought. Mock-documentary interviews and recurring local absurdities do more work than topical legal jokes. Each of its two seasons builds a separate case, making it a useful discovery when a comic serial still needs a clear destination.
