Moonshine (2021)

Lidia returns from her life elsewhere to a ramshackle Nova Scotia resort run by a family with plenty of unsettled claims. The 2021 Canadian Moonshine turns homecoming into an argument about work, ownership and who has earned a say. It is a broad, unruly comic drama rather than a restful reunion. The useful friction is between the skills the returning person brings and the obligations everyone else thinks came with leaving.
