The Dry (2022)

Shiv returns to Dublin sober and hoping that home can support a different life. The Dry understands how quickly a family can revive the habits, suspicions and jokes that make change difficult. Its comedy is sharp because the problem is not simply whether people mean well. Choose it for a return in which fitting back into the household may work against the person somebody is trying to become.
