Fish Tank (2009)
Movie

Mia's dancing offers a private version of herself that her surroundings rarely acknowledge. Katie Jarvis gives her anger a physical restlessness, while attention from an adult becomes dangerously difficult to interpret. This is a harsh Essex coming-of-age story, with sexual exploitation and class pressure central to its appeal and discomfort.
