Transatlantic (2023)

In 1940 Marseille, refugees and the people trying to help them escape have to imagine a future before a safe route is certain. Transatlantic gives artistic work, personal attachments and urgent practical choices competing claims on what can be carried away. It is more stylised and adventurous than the contemporary domestic choices. Choose it for migration at the point of departure, where leaving requires deciding what can be protected and what may have to be left behind.
