Ghosts of Beirut (2023)

The hunt for Imad Mughniyeh becomes a four-part account of surveillance, accumulated leads and relationships across different intelligence services. Dramatised scenes are interrupted by documentary interviews, making its method unusually visible. It is a demanding next step for a specialist viewer, with real political violence and a clear need to distinguish reconstructed access from complete historical certainty.
