Rectify (2013)

A man returns from death row to relatives who have organised much of their lives around his absence. The family cannot agree on what support, caution or ordinary conversation should now look like. Its patient four-season story makes space for care alongside fear and resentment, with sexual violence, imprisonment and trauma underlying the quiet scenes.
