This Is Going to Hurt (2022)

An obstetrics doctor in a stretched British hospital uses sharp humour to get through demands that keep exceeding his ability to absorb them. The connection is the way an exhausting job can distort a person's behaviour outside it, rather than a reassuring celebration of professional toughness. Ben Whishaw makes competence coexist with damaging blind spots. The medical distress and treatment of mental illness make this a substantially harsher choice.
