Chefs (2015)

A young man leaving prison enters a Paris restaurant where learning to cook also means learning a demanding social order. The French drama gives apprenticeship and an overbearing mentor more openly melodramatic treatment than The Bear. Romain's growing skill changes how he sees himself and how others try to use him.
