Mission Hill (1999)

A would-be cartoonist shares an urban loft and has to take responsibility for a younger brother who does not fit his preferred self-image. Bold colours and elastic designs make the neighbourhood feel inhabited rather than generic. The short, disrupted original run obscured a sharp older comedy about jobs, identity and the distance between being an adult and performing adulthood.
