The Shivering Truth (2018)

Stop-motion bodies and objects slide through dream logic, turning a passing fear or rationalisation into a complete miniature nightmare. The handmade physicality makes its changes especially unsettling. This is the abrasive, grotesque end of the selection, with graphic bodily imagery and cruelty; its adult seriousness lies in the emotional logic rather than a conventional continuing plot.
