Gary and His Demons (2018)

An ageing chosen one would like to retire, but the organisation relying on him has no convenient replacement. Demon-fighting becomes a bitter workplace problem about duty, burnout and being trapped by your supposed special talent. The Canadian comedy is foul-mouthed and frequently gory, with its funniest turns coming from Gary's exhausted resistance to another grand destiny.
