College Behind Bars (2019)

Students in the Bard Prison Initiative work through seminars, assignments and the consequences of their pasts. Lynn Novick's four-part series gives intellectual effort enough time to become the drama itself. It is a valuable discovery about education and confinement, with a clear interest in this programme's possibilities rather than a claim to survey every prison or student.
