An embedded camera follows a district attorney's office trying to alter a criminal-justice system from within. Meetings and individual decisions make reform's practical obstacles visible across eight episodes. The access is unusually revealing, but it remains a portrait of a particular administration and period, inviting discussion about what proximity shows and what it can leave outside the frame.
