Young Royals (2021)

Prince Wilhelm enters an elite Swedish boarding school where apparently ordinary teenage choices can have public consequences. Young Royals makes the school's rituals inseparable from a hierarchy that also follows him beyond its grounds. Pick it for the tension between learning to perform a role and wanting a relationship that the role complicates. It is a Swedish-language teen romance with a serious interest in the unequal cost of keeping up appearances.
