State of the Union (2019)

The first season places a couple in the pub before their marriage counselling appointment, with each short episode giving them another limited interval to talk around what matters. State of the Union makes ten minutes feel both useful and inadequate. Choose it for a small, verbal version of time pressure: a joke or distraction takes up space that cannot be reclaimed. Later seasons change the central couple and setting.
