Shrinking (2023)

A grieving therapist starts giving his patients blunt advice while his own household badly needs care. The familiar creative connection to Ted Lasso matters less than the ensemble's willingness to let support be awkward, funny and overdue. Jason Segel, Jessica Williams and Harrison Ford give kindness different temperaments. It is a warm choice with considerably messier professional boundaries than its therapeutic setting might suggest.
