Stove League (2019)

A new general manager takes charge of a struggling baseball club during the off-season, when the important work happens in offices and negotiations. The Korean drama makes building a team a question of labour, judgement and institutional resistance. Its leader is far more guarded than Ted, but the pleasure comes from getting people to function together. Baseball expertise is less important than an appetite for practical organisational problems.
