Damnation (2017)

A preacher organising desperate farmers and a hired strikebreaker meet in Depression-era Iowa. This is a later frontier of banks, land and organised labour, with Western rivalries carried into an industrial struggle. The ten-episode run is a muscular, politically charged discovery, but its cancellation leaves important family and community conflicts unfinished.
