The English (2022)

A grieving Englishwoman and a Pawnee former cavalry scout cross a landscape shaped by promises other people never intended to keep. The six-part drama makes land ownership and personal history more consequential than a simple revenge route. Its stylised language and saturated vistas are striking, with severe violence and colonial dispossession central to the journey.
