Mayday (2013)

A girl's disappearance before a May Day pageant turns a village's familiar relationships into a field of suspicion. The 2013 British Mayday spends its time with residents who have to decide what to disclose and whom to protect. Choose it for the awkward proximity of knowing somebody as a neighbour while beginning to fear a different account of them. It is a short, atmospheric mystery with a more uncanny edge than straightforward police procedure.
