The Accident (2019)

An explosion at a construction site kills teenagers and leaves a Welsh community arguing over responsibility. The 2019 British The Accident follows parents, local leadership and business interests whose relationships existed before the disaster. Pick it for the way a demand for accountability divides people who still need to share a place. The decisions behind the site matter as much as the immediate catastrophe, and grief is central rather than an opening device.
