Station Eleven (2021)

A child and an adult stranger find themselves responsible for each other as a pandemic takes hold; years later, travelling performers carry art through the world it leaves behind. The limited series makes an inherited story and a remembered gesture as important as a supply run. It is the closest companion for viewers who wanted more of The Last of Us's intimate human encounters, with a less action-driven rhythm.
