State of the Union (2019)

The first season's couple meet in a pub before counselling, trying to talk without quite arriving at the thing that brought them there. State of the Union compresses that negotiation into short episodes where a joke can be a distraction, an invitation or an accidental disclosure. Choose it for verbal precision without a long running time. Later seasons use different couples, so the first is an especially easy way to test whether its conversational rhythm suits you.
