The Booth at the End (2011)
TV Show
First aired
People sit opposite an unnamed man in a diner and describe what they want and what they have agreed to do for it. The Booth at the End makes events beyond the booth arrive through accounts that can be questioned. Pick it for a speculative premise with unusually little need to leave the conversation. The fascination lies in hearing somebody negotiate the meaning of a bargain after its consequences become less abstract.
