Horace and Pete (2016)
TV Show
First aired
A Brooklyn bar gives Horace and Pete a place for extended exchanges in which resentment, affection and family history are difficult to separate. The theatrical staging leaves room for an argument to become much more painful than it initially sounded. Choose it for abrasive, performance-led drama rather than cosy company. Mental illness, abuse and despair are substantial parts of a series whose conversations can feel like people testing the limits of what others will endure.
