Boli (2021)

On the Bangladeshi island of Cheradiya, a stranger’s arrival unsettles a violent local order. The isolation makes personal feuds and struggles for authority difficult to escape, while the water offers something less reassuring than freedom. A strong choice after Mandaar if you want another bounded community, with its own power structure rather than the same story repeated.
