The Rain (2018)

In The Rain, rainfall itself carries a deadly threat, turning shelter and the timing of a journey into questions of survival. The Danish-language series makes an everyday weather event impossible to regard casually. Choose it for the most overtly speculative option, with young survivors learning what assumptions they can no longer trust. The premise matters more here than scientific plausibility, and the pressure develops into a wider post-apocalyptic story.
