The Curse (2023)

The couple making a home-renovation television programme want to be understood as generous, progressive people. The 2023 American The Curse keeps exposing the friction between that image, their relationship and the effect of their work on others. Choose it for excruciating social discomfort rather than brisk scandal plotting. A camera can document their supposed good intentions while also making the effort to look good increasingly difficult to ignore.
