The Thick of It (2005)

The ministers and advisers in The Thick of It can spend a working day trying to make yesterday's position sound consistent with today's retreat. Their names and authority are always at stake, even when they describe the problem as somebody else's mistake. Pick it for vicious British political comedy about language used to contain panic. The dialogue is profane and fast, with the public explanation often the last thing the speakers privately believe.
