Celebrity players inhabit suspects and detectives in constructed murder cases, looking for clues while somebody has a reason to keep the fictional truth concealed. The 2025 Korean reboot makes role-play itself part of the deduction: a convincing performance may be helpful or deliberately misleading. It offers a more evidence-driven companion to The Traitors' theatrical setting. These are designed mysteries performed as a game, rather than investigations of real crimes.
