Mrs. America (2020)

Mrs. America follows both the campaign for the Equal Rights Amendment and the conservative organisation that mobilises against it. Meetings, alliances and differences within each camp determine what public confidence can achieve. Choose it for a dramatisation that treats organising as skilled work while keeping the stakes and the opposing aims visible. It is not a claim that every movement taking on established power is pursuing an equivalent idea of freedom.
