Show Me a Hero (2015)

Show Me a Hero places a housing battle inside local politics while following residents whose lives cannot be reduced to the mayor's next decision. Organised opposition can be loud and powerful, and the people seeking decent homes do not begin with equal access to the room. Choose it for the difficulty of turning a legal obligation into a workable social change. It is based on events in Yonkers, with patient attention to competing constituencies rather than a simple inspirational campaign.
