Rectify (2013)

A released death-row prisoner's return turns small-town encounters into questions about time, belief and what a family can repair. SundanceTV gave the drama four seasons and an intended final chapter, despite its modest reach. Choose it for Aden Young's careful attention to ordinary sensations, with sexual violence, imprisonment and trauma requiring emotional space.
