Men of a Certain Age (2009)

Ray Romano, Andre Braugher and Scott Bakula play friends negotiating the distance between their imagined adulthood and the lives they actually have. TNT ended the drama after two seasons despite a Peabody and strong performances, saying the audience had not grown enough. Its patient conversations about work, health and compromised ambition are particularly rewarding at a similar stage of life.
