The Riches (2007)

A family takes over the identity of prosperous suburban strangers and discovers that belonging requires much more than copying their possessions. The FX drama uses Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver's performances to test the boundary between security and sustained deception. Its two-season cancellation leaves the larger story open, but its account of aspirational domestic life remains distinctively uneasy.
